1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using FramedCost, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of service

FramedCost provides web-based construction cost estimation calculators. Estimates are for informational purposes only and should not be used as final bids. We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee that estimates match actual project costs.

3. Account registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized use.

4. Free plan

The Free plan includes 3 calculations per day across 3 trade calculators (Electrical, Plumbing, Painting). No credit card is required. We reserve the right to modify free plan limits with 30 days notice.

5. Pro subscription

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually at the displayed rate. Your subscription auto-renews unless canceled. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

6. Free trial

New Pro subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends. You can cancel during the trial at no cost. We send a reminder email 3 days before the trial expires.

7. Refund policy

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee. Contact support@framedcost.com within 7 days of your first payment for a full refund. After 7 days, refunds are issued at our discretion on a pro-rata basis.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including scraping, automated queries that degrade performance, uploading malicious code, or using the service for illegal purposes. Violation may result in immediate account termination.

9. Intellectual property

FramedCost, the FramedCost logo, and all calculator interfaces are intellectual property of FramedCost. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the service without written permission.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

FramedCost estimates are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that estimates will be error-free, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that results will meet your specific project requirements. Always verify with local suppliers and professionals.

11. Limitation of liability

FramedCost, its owners, and affiliates are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the service, including but not limited to inaccurate estimates, lost profits, or project cost overruns. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
