Built for the job site, not the boardroom.

FramedCost gives US contractors fast, accurate cost estimates for every trade — without the bloat of enterprise software or the guesswork of spreadsheets.

Our mission

Every contractor knows the pain of estimating: too slow, too manual, too easy to miss something. FramedCost exists to fix that — one trade at a time.

We built calculators that speak contractor language, use real 2026 US pricing data, and give you a number you can actually take to a client.

Why FramedCost?

Spreadsheets break

One wrong formula, one accidentally deleted cell, and your entire bid falls apart. Spreadsheets weren't built for estimating — they were built for accountants.

Software is overkill

Enterprise estimating platforms cost thousands, take weeks to set up, and pack features no small crew needs. You just need fast, accurate numbers.

Online calculators are vague

Most free calculators give you a ballpark number with no breakdown. FramedCost shows you materials, labor, and totals — by trade, by input.

How our pricing data works

All material and labor costs in FramedCost are based on 2026 US national averages, aggregated from contractor reports, supplier pricing data, and industry publications including RSMeans and NAHB cost studies.

Regional variance can be ±20% from national averages. Always verify local pricing with your suppliers before submitting a final bid.
